I don’t understand this Writing question and need help to study. From the Main Prompt: This assignment asks you to produce a thesis-driven analysis that uses at least (2) of our assigned primary sources and at least (3) of our assigned secondary sources. Your rhetorical analysis essay should accomplish several things:Summarize and analyze the primary texts you use in thick detail and with accuracy. Your reader should be able to understand the main elements of the stories and the characters from your presentation.
Explain which aspects and sub-classifications of the genre of spy fiction are most visible in the novel that is at the center of your analysis. Explain why these aspects of the genre are central to your interpretation of the novel. Use specific examples from your primary texts and draw from your secondary sources to describe and explain these aspects. Your claims about the genre classification of your primary sources are key components of your thesis statement.
Deliver a thesis statement that explains how and why your primary texts convey insights that are culturally, socially, politically, and/or scientifically meaningful to us today. You will need to use secondary sources to help you to situate your analysis of your primary sources in these contexts. In other words, deliver a thesis statement that explains the rhetorical work accomplished by your primary texts and their genre(s).
